Lismore is our largest nearby NSW city and the regional centre for the Northern Rivers and home to about 30,000 people. Lismore is a 80km, 80 minute drive from Murwillumbah, down the Pacific Highway past Byron and off the highway and past Bangalow.

With a large student population Lismore is a very artistic and festive city and public festivals and celebrations include the Lantern Festival, the Richmond River Historical Society, the Lismore Regional Gallery.
